Building Safety Compliance Services
Compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022
From 1st April 2024, every in-scope building that you are responsible for will need to have a Building Safety Case in place as well as a Building Safety Case Report. At any time after this date, the BSR can ask for a copy of this report with just 28 days’ notice. It is a criminal offense to be unable to provide a Safety Case Report when asked.
It is the Principal Accountable Person’s responsibility to plan, manage and monitor the various tasks necessary to ensure that they are complying with the requirements of the Act; and they must have in place appropriate arrangements to ensure they meet these.
Providing the BSR and other stakeholders with regular updates and reports on the building’s safety measures and compliance status is crucial to maintaining the confidence and peace of mind of everyone involved. You will need to report on actions you have taken as a company and have the evidence to back this up.
